About Empowering Gospel Ministry

Empowering Gospel Ministry is a Christ-centered religious organization rooted in the tradition of African Indigenous Churches (AICs), with a mission to spread the holistic Gospel across communities. Founded in 2003 by Pastor Marco James Dak and Apostle Michael Maluth Tut in Itang, Ethiopia, the church has grown from its early beginnings as Bezildit Gospel International Church into a recognized and licensed institution. Now known as Empowering Gospel Ministry, we operate with 12 local churches across Ethiopia and South Sudan, with our headquarters based in the Gambella region. Our ministry is committed to uplifting lives through preaching, healing, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Our Mission

Our Mission is to transform the old man to become new in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). This implies that having contact or praying in EGC would make your life not the same again. You will be totally metamorphosed by the glory of God you have bumped into.

Therefore, the mission got the name as Bezildit Ministry in Nuer Language i.e. we are doing Bezildit Ministry (Mission) in Empowering Gospel (Church) in order to your personal life decrease & Jesus in you greater (Vision).

EGC Vision is to lead those with in our fellowship to a loving and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ Himself, and to actively share the Good News of Christ throughout our community making the Name of Jesus Christ to be Greater. According to John 3:30, the name of Jesus will increase; we are inspired to make the name of Jesus Christ to become greater everywhere.
